Basketball Recap: Kayden Whitaker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat King George + How To Watch

The third road matchup was the charm for Courtland, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the King George Foxes 76-56 on Tuesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Foxes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Courtland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Whitaker, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 12 points along with six boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmari Boxley, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 14 points.

Courtland was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They posted seven more assists than King George's also-impressive total of 11.

Despite the loss, King George still got an impressive performance from Eli Truslow, who shot 70% from the field en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Jericho Logan also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
