Wareham lost to Holbrook back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wareham Vikings walked away with a 46-39 win over the Holbrook Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Holbrook's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Janiyah Smith, who posted 19 points. Smith is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Makayla Hopkins, who scored eight points and 15 rebounds.

Wareham's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Holbrook, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Wareham has already played their next match (against Nauset Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Holbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-26 win against Old Colony RVT on the 31st.
