The Terrell County Greenwave can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They really took it to Pataula Charter Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-21 victory at home. With Terrell County ahead 40-10 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Terrell County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamariana Smith, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalysia Lane, who scored 11 points.
Terrell County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Pataula Charter Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
Terrell County will head out on the road to square off against Stewart County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Randolph-Clay at 6:00 p.m. Randolph-Clay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pataula Charter Academy in Georgia (Randolph-Clay is ranked 229th, while Pataula Charter Academy is ranked 474th).
