Basketball Recap: Lincoln County's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After losing to Hephzibah the last time they met, Lincoln County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lincoln County Red Devils took down the Hephzibah Rebels 47-28 on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Hephzibah lost, don't look at ISAIAH RICHARDSON. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JAMARCUS SALMOND, who posted five points.

Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Hephzibah, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Lincoln County will take on Taliaferro County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln County is facing Taliaferro County at the right time seeing as Taliaferro County is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Hephzibah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
