Soccer Recap: Mundelein Falls to Jacobs in First Game of Season

Mundelein kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Jacobs Golden Eagles by a score of 3-2. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Mundelein couldn't quite close it out.

Andy Avila Ramos and Valentino Acosta scored both of Mundelein's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Mundelein has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Palatine on the 27th. As for Jacobs, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Streamwood on the 28th.
