Soccer Recap: Locke Takes a Loss

Locke entered their game against Fremont on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Locke Saints fell just short of the Fremont Pathfinders by a score of 2-1. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pathfinders from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Locke's goal came courtesy of Noah Serafin, who's now up to four this season.

Locke's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1-2 and their overall record down to 9-5-3. As for Fremont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.

Locke didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Foshay on the 31st. As for Fremont, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Harbor Teacher on the 31st.
