Minisink Valley moved up to 321 from 348 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 9 AA-II. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Warwick 18-12.

Minisink Valley made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,194 from 9,703. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 18-12 victory over Kevin Gallagher's team last week.

The Wildcats' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brad Garcia threw for 36 yards and Brendan Corneby had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Garcia chipped in 264 yards.

Garcia was a beast in the backfield as Warwick topped the Warriors.

Garcia was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 264 yards on 26 carries as Gregory Sirico's team bested Minisink Valley. Harley Rogers also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.

Warwick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garcia has thrown for 346 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Corneby has 3 catches for 131 yards. Garcia also leads the league in rushing with 1,310 yards.

The top two teams in Section 9 AA-II will face off this week when first place Warwick takes on second place Washingtonville.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Washingtonville takes on the Wildcats. The Wizards have allowed 116 points this season, while Warwick has given up 104.

Washingtonville led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Saugerties.
