Soccer Recap: Volunteer Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greeneville, Volunteer was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Union Bears by a score of 4-2. It was an even better day for Cameron Cox as he scored three goals for his team.

Volunteer's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Union, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Union will welcome John Battle at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Volunteer will be paying especially close attention to Union's game: after Union faces off against John Battle, they'll take on Volunteer again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
