Burton had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mumford Mustangs a 9-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 on Tuesday.

Burton's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Mumford, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3.

As of now, neither Burton nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
