Wakeland won the last time they faced Sherman, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wakeland Wolverines took their game with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the Sherman Bearcats. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Bearcats are ranked 523rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
