Jamestown has gone 10-0 against Lancaster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Jamestown Red & Green will take on the Lancaster Legends at 7:45 p.m. Jamestown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Lancaster likes a good challenge.

Jamestown is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Marauders, falling 78-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red & Green have suffered since January 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-60 heartbreaker at the hands of Kenmore West. While losing is never fun, the Legends can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 678th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 256th).

Jamestown's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything came up roses for Jamestown against Lancaster in their previous meeting on Wednesday, as the squad secured an 84-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jamestown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
