Baseball Recap: Nottoway Takes a Loss

Nottoway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-2 to the Randolph-Henry Statesmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Statesmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in April.

Nottoway saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terrik Mills, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Nottoway's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Randolph-Henry, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Nottoway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randolph-Henry, they will square off against Southampton on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Statesmen surely won't give up without a fight.
