Hobbton barely beat Rosewood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats never let the Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. Considering Hobbton have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Hobbton's third in a row) raised their record to 6-6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Rosewood, they dropped their record down to 0-10-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Hobbton will challenge James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rosewood, they will square off against North Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
