Olean has gone 9-0-1 against Salamanca recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Huskies will face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Olean is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Olean's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Jamestown. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Emma Edwards made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Riley Sudbrook was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and three runs. Alaina Hirliman also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Salamanca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Southwestern.

The victory got Olean back to even at 6-6. As for Salamanca, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went Olean's way against Salamanca when the teams last played back in April, as Olean made off with a 13-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
