Basketball Recap: Siuslaw Has No Trouble Against Coquille

After losing to Coquille the last time they met, Siuslaw decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Siuslaw Vikings enjoyed a cozy 50-36 win over the Coquille Red Devils on Friday.

Siuslaw's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Coquille, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Siuslaw will face off against South Umpqua at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coquille, they are taking a road trip to take on Glide at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coquille is facing Glide at the right time seeing as Glide is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
