Enterprise is 8-2 against Shasta since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Enterprise Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Shasta Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Enterprise is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Pleasant Valley on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Enterprise came up short against Pleasant Valley, falling 63-42. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Shasta took a blow against Foothill on Tuesday, falling 61-29. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Cougars are ranked 220th).

Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Shasta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Enterprise didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Shasta in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Enterprise since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
