Soccer Game Preview: Purvis vs. East Central

Purvis' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Greene County by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

Meanwhile, East Central waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

East Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matches. As for Purvis, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.
