After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodrow Wilson, Costa Mesa was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 48-37 win over the Century Centurions. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory snapped Costa Mesa's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Century, their record now sits at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Costa Mesa won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sage Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Century, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Centurions are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
