Williston scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Mandan Braves 69-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost nine in a row.

Williston's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mandan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Williston will take on rival Bismarck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mandan is set to face off against their familiar foe Minot on Friday.
