Softball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic fell victim to Creston and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Creston, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atlantic will square off against rival Glenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Creston is set to challenge their familiar foe Red Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Panthers' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Tigers have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
