Baseball Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs suffered their biggest defeat since April 10, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the Oak Hills Bulldogs. The Burros haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Burroughs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colby Bachman, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Burroughs' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Oak Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Burroughs is taking a road trip to square off against Apple Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Apple Valley 3.5, Burroughs 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Oak Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hesperia at 3:15 p.m. on March 27th.
