Basketball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 54th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 41-29 to the Willis Wildkats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-32 back in December of 2024.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-27. As for Willis, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-17.

Cleveland won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Caney Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Willis, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
