It was a good run, but Monrovia unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Duarte Falcons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Wildcats have been dealt a draw since back in November.

Micah Maljian was the only thing that stood between Monrovia and a shutout considering he scored both of Monrovia's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Monrovia's draw makes their record 6-1-3 this season. Meanwhile, Duarte's record is now 1-3-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Monrovia take on the Polytechnic at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. After both having extra time off, Duarte and Azusa will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Azusa's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
