Softball Recap: Etowah Blue Devils vs. Oneonta Redskins

Etowah and Oneonta squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Etowah had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Oneonta Redskins by a score of 3-2. Etowah's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Etowah saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Owen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

On Oneonta's side, Ashtyn Sligh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks.
