Franklin Road Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Oakwood Christian Eagles.

Franklin Road Christian's offense was headlined by Kylie Ward and Anna English, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Ellee English and her nine assists. Anna also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lakelyn Dempsey, each putting up four.

Franklin Road Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Oakwood Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Franklin Road Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Arlington Baptist on the 2nd. As for Oakwood Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Tabernacle Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
