Maxwell has gone a perfect 6-0 against Paradise recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Bobcats at 3:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Maxwell and ten for Paradise.

On Wednesday, Maxwell came up short against Colusa and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paradise took on Redding Christian on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 9-1 to the Lions. Paradise were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Paradise's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Maxwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Maxwell got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January against Paradise by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
