Hartman Fisk made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Gerardo De La Cruz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Thomas Heyward Academy came up short against Bridges Prep last Thursday and fell 9-4.

Colton Young was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Beau Pinckney, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Colleton Prep Academy's record now sits at 2-10. As for Thomas Heyward Academy, their record now sits at 1-3.

Colleton Prep Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Thomas Heyward Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colleton Prep Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
