Preview: North Central Jets vs. Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes
The North Central Jets will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Saturday, North Central blew past Posen, posting a 54-20 win on the road.
It was another big night for Jacob gorzinski, who rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Kaden Malone, who gained 107 total yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Lake Linden-Hubbell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against Forest Park as Lake Linden-Hubbell made off with a 27-6 win.
Their wins bumped North Central to 8-2 and Lake Linden-Hubbell to 7-3.
North Central couldn't quite finish off Lake Linden-Hubbell when the teams last played back in September and fell 28-25. Can North Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
