Volleyball Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Lexington Senior on Monday, Central Davidson came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Randleman Tigers on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Emma Grace Hunt paced Central Davidson's offense, picking up four kills. Hunt got some help from Lauren Chesney and her eight assists. Finally, Nevaeh Russell kept Central Davidson's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Randleman, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Central Davidson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against T.W. Andrews on the 2nd. As for Randleman, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against High Point Central on the 2nd.
