Volleyball Recap: Pinconning Comes Up Short

Pinconning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Ogemaw Heights Falcons, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Pinconning's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-3. As for Ogemaw Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4-2 record this season.

Pinconning wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Alcona on the 18th. As for Ogemaw Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Tawas Area on the 18th.
