Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday James Morton stepped things up a notch to give Chamblee the 'W'. Morton didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Chamblee is 3-1 when Morton allowstwo or fewer hits, but 5-10 otherwise.

Morton's strong effort led Chamblee over Arabia Mountain and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chamblee is 8-2 against Arabia Mountain going back to March of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
