Westview lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lakeland, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Warriors blew past the Lakers 6-0 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Lakers two weeks ago, they had to take a 7-5 defeat.

Westview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Zolman, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave Zolman a new career-high. Brendan Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory snapped Westview's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-7 record. As for Lakeland, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Westview will take on Lakewood Park Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lakeland, they will face off against West Noble at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
