Soccer Game Preview: Cleveland Central vs. Warren Central

The Cleveland Central Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Warren Central Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cleveland Central's offense. They lost 4-0 to Canton two weeks ago. Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Warren Central had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it six two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Falcons as they made off with a 5-1 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Columbus from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Warren Central's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five games. As for Cleveland Central, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
