After a string of six wins, Neuqua Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. The match between them and the Lincoln-Way Central Knights didn't end well, with the Neuqua Valley Wildcats falling 71-53. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Neuqua Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10. As for Lincoln-Way Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
