Basketball Game Recap: Salem Lions vs. Silver Creek Dragons

Salem lost against Silver Creek last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Salem Lions might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 83-27 to the Silver Creek Dragons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Dragons are ranked 16th).

Salem has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. The win (which was Silver Creek's fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Salem has already played their next match, a 72-30 defeat against Charlestown on the 21st. Silver Creek has also already played their next game (against Corydon Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
