Baseball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Takes a Loss

Bradley-Bourbonnais lost against Andrew on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Boilermakers fell 10-7 to the Thunderbolts. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kason Bynum was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Cody Freitas was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Andrew, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradley-Bourbonnais will welcome Manteno at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Andrew, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lockport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
