Loch Raven had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They snuck past the Kenwood Bluebirds with a 55-49 victory. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 63-39 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Kenwood lost, don't look at Andrew Otuyelu. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Antoine Day-Barnes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 boards.

Loch Raven's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Kenwood, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
