Recap: Altamont Indians vs. Marshall Lions
On Thursday, Altamont didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Marshall, but they still walked away with a 56-51 victory.
Eli Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Milleville, who scored 13 points.
Altamont's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Altamont and DuQuoin will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. DuQuoin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Altamont is ranked 186th). As for Marshall, they will square off against Casey-Westfield at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Casey-Westfield is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
