Basketball Recap: Uplift Ascend Prep Comes Up Short

Uplift Ascend Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 71-32 loss at the hands of the Summit International Prep Skyhawks. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 39 points.

Uplift Ascend Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Summit International Prep, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1.

Looking ahead, Uplift Ascend Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bishop Dunne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 74.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Summit International Prep, they will face off against Young Men's Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
