Volleyball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Reagan Raiders + How To Watch

R.J. Reynolds hasn't had much luck against Reagan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Demons will face off against the Raiders at 6:15 p.m. Reagan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on R.J. Reynolds, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, R.J. Reynolds turned things around against Parkland on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 19-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Reagan suffered their biggest defeat since October 31, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against Marvin Ridge, falling 3-0. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Reagan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brielynd Riddle had 17 digs and three assists. Riddle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

R.J. Reynolds' win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Reagan, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

R.J. Reynolds suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Reagan in their previous matchup on September 4th. Can the Demons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
