Volleyball Game Preview: Mount Si Wildcats vs. Lake Stevens Vikings + Official Tickets

Mount Si is 0-4 against Lake Stevens since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mount Si is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Arlington.

Meanwhile, Lake Stevens had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They blew past the Ravens 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-20.

Mount Si's record is now 13-8. As for Lake Stevens, their record now sits at 27-3.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's matchup: Mount Si has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Lake Stevens struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Mount Si suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lake Stevens in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
