The matchup between Fremont and Montague on Wednesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Packers' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. Considering Fremont have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Fremont's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matchups. As for Montague, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record this season.

Fremont will welcome Whitehall at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Montague, they will head out on the road to face off against Ravenna at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
