Softball Recap: Pelham Pythons vs. Bow Falcons
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pelham ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Bow Falcons. For the Pythons, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Caileigh Aguiar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over eight innings while giving up seven earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.
