            Softball Recap: Lakeview Bulldogs vs. Poland Seminary Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs  on Monday. Lakeview came out on top in a nail-biter against Poland Seminary, sneaking past  16-15. Lakeview hasn't had any issues with Poland Seminary recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Isabella Isenberg made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. Isenberg was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.

 In other batting news,  Mackenzie Stowe and  Kennedy Bartlett did most of the damage at the plate:  Stowe  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Bartlett  scored four  runs while going 4-for-4. Those  four  hits gave  Bartlett a new career-high.  Hallie Capan was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Lakeview  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Poland Seminary only posted  an  OBP of  .351.
Lakeview's record is now 6-2. As for Poland Seminary,  with the  loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.
 Looking ahead, Lakeview will challenge Forbush at 11:15  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Poland Seminary, they will welcome McDonald  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
