Flag Football Game Preview: Crismon Rattlers vs. ALA - Gilbert North Eagles + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Carlee Morse and Karissa Behnke are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Crismon Rattlers will challenge the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

ALA - Gilbert North will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Crismon extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Rattlers' defense stepped up to hand Dysart a 56-0 shutout. Give the Rattlers' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Crismon found their leader in sophomore Morse, who threw for 168 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 47 yards. Reylynn Lazarin also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which she returned one-yard for a touchdown. Brayah Andree made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Crismon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Andree and Lazarin were the leaders of the group effort as each produced two apiece. Crismon got some further help from Alyssa Dozhier: she picked up two sacks and made 11 total tackles.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for ALA - Gilbert North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They breezed past Desert Sunrise to the tune of 41-0 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

ALA - Gilbert North's win came from a few key players Crismon will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gwenyth Scheurn, who picked up 150 receiving yards and three scores. She didn't just play on offense: she also picked up a sack and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Maci Hansen did her part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 66 receiving yards.

Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
