Baseball Recap: Harriman Blue Devils vs. Meigs County Tigers
After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Harriman was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 10-1 to the Meigs County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.
Harriman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Oliver, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
Harriman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Meigs County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harriman will square off against Sunbright at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Meigs County, they will challenge Sweetwater at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
