Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge lost against Hoosic Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The N/A took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The N/A have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 20-25, 25-21, 25-13.

Hannah Reidy was nothing short of spectacular for Hoosic Valley: she had 15 digs and three aces. Reidy has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hoosic Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cambridge will square off against Loudonville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hoosic Valley, they will challenge Argyle at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
