Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rivera). They never let the Pace Vikings onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won four contests in a row.

Rivera pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Pace, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rivera will square off against Weslaco East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rivera is facing Weslaco East at the right time seeing as Weslaco East is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Pace, they will head out on the road to face off against Mercedes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
