Basketball Recap: Hialeah Victorious

Hialeah won the last time they faced Hialeah-Miami Lakes, and Dj Foster did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hialeah Thoroughbreds enjoyed a cozy 59-40 win over the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans on Tuesday thanks in part to Foster, who went 10 of 23 on his way to 28 points and five steals. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Bradly Banos, who posted 11 points and five steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game.

Hialeah's record is now 4-1. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Hialeah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-62 defeat against North Miami on the 12th. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-24 loss against Carol City on the 12th.
