The Winter Park Wildcats posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2023 on Thursday. They put the hurt on Melbourne with a sharp 47-23 victory. With Winter Park ahead 23-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Winter Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Childs led the charge by scoring 11 points along with two steals. Childs has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Danychka Badio was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
